Value Voters Debate

First of all I'm thrilled Mike Huckabee gave his time to go to this debate. Unlike some candidates that didn't showed up, I wasn't surprised when they said they invited all democratic candidates to a debate they all declined the offer. Huckabee is strong at these type of moral questions, his answers are straight forward and not flip-flopping. I watched it online but unluckily for me the video streaming seemed screwed up. Mike has the Values that some other candidates claim they have but they really aren't that way. For the most part the debate was good even though I didn't watch all of it. Their was some candidates that I was unheard of that showed up for the deabte best of luck to them. For the first time in months Ron Paul actually said something remotely close to good. The good news is that Huckabee won the debate with 63% at the end. I think the debate will be slotted on a cable tv channel soon , not sure though.... I could keep going on and on but my fingers are starting to hurt...

Visit to Fair Tax bus

Lets see here Friday night went to the fair tax bus. It stopped by at Altel Stadium (Jaguars). When me and my mom came in they were already talking and chit chatting. I listened they were talking about various stuff. Then one of the Fair Tax bus members started talking about meeting Mike Huckabee and how much he has supported the Fair Tax. Their you have it Mike has been well known with the fair tax people enough for them to mention him. I also got me a t-shirt and yard sign, and various stuff. Before my family never heard about the Fairtax until Mike Huckabee said it and I explained to them what it was.

Sincerely,

Matt

Why Huckabee...

Why Huckabee is the man for the job? Mike is a normal person like any of us , unlike Hilary or Obama. Why would we want a normal person doing the job you ask. He knows what it is like to pay taxes, he actually cares about the minority's, he just doesn't go to large cities to get votes, he goes where true people live.Mike is very strong at his issues he isn't a flip flopper like some other candidates, he is a truthful American. He doesn't just care about the Iraq war, he does important issues that will effect us later on in life, education, energy independence. He once said in one of his debate's."I used to have a frame in the wall of my office in Arkansas and every few weeks ago I changed the picture, the pictures wasn't me it was just an ordinary citizen like you. You are the boss, I'm here to support you." In my view he is a man of character and commitment. He is that one person many of us have been searching for years and we have finally found him, I hope he is our president because he will turn this country in the right direction.

Sincerely,

Matt

Mike Huckabee

I think this song describes Mike Huckabee and his candidacy really well.

Mike Huckabee VS. Ron Paul

Really there is no question who won. Mike Huckabee is a strong canidate and he won that little mini debate there.Mike clearly won by the amount of applause he had, but that is not what matters its what he says. Below I have a transcript of the mini-debate and then I will have the video.

REP. PAUL: The American people didn’t go in. A few people advising this administration, a small number of people called the neoconservative hijacked our foreign policy. They’re responsible, not the American people. They’re not responsible. We shouldn’t punish them. (Cheers, applause.)

MR. HUCKABEE: Congressman, we are one nation. We can’t be divided. We have to be one nation under God. That means if we make a mistake, we make it as a single country, the United States of America, not the divided states of America. (Cheers.)

REP. PAUL: No. When we make a mistake -- (interrupted by applause) -- when we make a mistake, it is the obligation of the people through their representatives to correct the mistake, not to continue the mistake! (Cheers, applause.)

MR. HUCKABEE: And that’s what we do on the floor of the --

REP. PAUL: No! We’ve dug a hole for ourselves and we dug a hole for our party!

We’re losing elections and we’re going down next year if we don’t change it, and it has all to do with foreign policy, and we have to wake up to this fact.

MR. HUCKABEE: Even if we lose elections, we should not lose our honor, and that is more important than the Republican Party.
